We are so excited and proud to let you all know we have officially just dropped off 100 BACKPACKS!! Year over year we’ve been able to double the amount and it’s all with immense thanks to all of you! Thank you to everyone for your support, generosity and constantly cheering us on and checking in.
This year was extremely special to be able to do this for LARCH, as they have had some hard times during COVID-19 and still do everything they can to make each child feel special. Every child deserves to feel special, start school feeling confident and ready to succeed, and it’s such an honour that we all play a part in hopefully allowing for that to happen.
Over the next while or so we will also be sharing some follow up videos and photos of how everything is being put to use through our Instagram @backpacksforbrainaics! All backpacks will be distributed to students and families that attend LARCH, as well as others in need in the community. All leftover funds will be donated in forms of Costco gift cards as LARCH is providing families with snacks for students each week.
