Wow – what a year it has been! Before we could even update our website in time, our Fourth Annual Fundraiser was already over. In only 10 days, we were able to raise over +$12,000 – a new milestone reached, as it is our very first 5 digit fundraiser.
We originally set out with a goal of $5,000, equipping Larch with their supplies for the year, and then an additional 25 backpacks for the Why Not Youth Centre. We were overwhelmed when we raised $5,800 alone in the FIRST day. That is how much we raised last year in total!
What a truly epic 10 days, we were able to put together 175 backpacks for the Why Not Youth Centre here in Brantford, ON, and equip the LARCH After School Program with all of the supplies they need to succeed.
We’re so excited to keep growing this initiative, and help as many in the community as we can. There will be some even greater milestones we hope to hit soon, and I’m excited to update you all, along this journey! Hope you enjoy some photos over the last week of fun. I can’t thank everyone enough for continually supporting and motivating us to make this happen annually. A few special thank you’s to local businesses who helped donate anything from a moving van to a storage unit to promo support: Sammy’s Family Restaurant, Fracassi & Co., The Moving Box and The Sherwood Restaurant and Catering. We do our best to maximize every $1 donated, so sometimes we have to get creative and drive around in a catering van.
Thank you everyone for another extremely successful year! We would not be able to do it without everyone’s support and generosity. We’re very much looking forward to an even bigger and better year next year.
